APPARATUS SCULPTORIS is an art and industry project in Carrara on the premises of Carlo Telara s.r.l. We offer courses in marble and stone sculpture and carving techniques, marble and stone carving facilities and develop environmental art projects with artists.

Quarries

WHITE "LAVAGNINA" - ITALY
The Carlo Telara Co. owns the RAVALUNGA quarry producing white "Lavagnina" quality. A very white background, with gray fine veins and a strong structure makes the LAVAGNINA one of the best white Carrara marbles, used worldwide in prestigious buldings, as the 600 tons emploied to cover the CANBERRA National Library (Australia)

PATRICIA GREEN - ITALY
The Company has also the esclusive rights of "Verde Patricia" quarry production, listed among the soundest green marbles. Apart from its classical beauty, "Verde Patricia" is one of the few coloured marbles which does not warp after the fixing. It has been selected for a number of important projects for its aesthetical and technical characteristics. Including the world famous griffe CARTIER, whose architects selected in the early nineties the "Verde Patricia" marble to decorate the prestigious jewelleries all over the world

BOKA - ETHIOPIA
For years the Carlo Telara Co. has trade relation with the main Ethiopian marble companies. has the sales exclusivity of "Boka" White wich is a marble with unique physical and mechanical characteristics. Its delicate ivory colour, with light pink and green nuances and its special hardness makes it suitable for any type of use.

ARABESCATO "T"
ITALY
Since the sixties the Carlo Telara has also been trading Arabescato "Corchia". This marble which is considered one of the most classical Arabescato, is particularly appreciated for its white/statuary background.
